Island Wintering
The Story
Winter settles over the island, quiet and still, yet full of life. On a snow-covered dune, a family of foxes watches, their eyes bright, their fur thick against the cold. Not far away, a seal and her pup rest atop a red rock, the waves lapping gently below them. They, too, are part of this moment—part of the rhythm of the land and sea.
Above it all, in the starry sky, a mother sky whale drifts with her calf, moving as effortlessly as the tide. The moonlight catches them, casting a soft glow over the landscape.
This is winter on the island—not empty, not barren, but alive with quiet magic. A season of watching, waiting, and knowing that even in the stillness, life is everywhere, connected by unseen threads.
