Winter Joy
The Story
Winter on Prince Edward Island has a magic of its own—the kind that comes with fresh snow, crisp air, and the warmth of a fire shared with friends. Beneath the bright full moon, three figures make their way through the forest, drawn to the glow ahead.
One pulls a sled behind them, its tracks winding through the snow. Another crouches by the fire, carefully roasting a marshmallow, while a third moves in from the distance, their snowshoes pressing soft prints into the untouched landscape.
Hares bound playfully through the scene, and coyotes slip quietly through the trees. This is winter in PEI—cold but full of life, where the simplest moments, like gathering around a fire, become the ones you remember most.
