The Keeper of the Golden Seed

She stands at the heart of it all, cloaked in deep red, cradling a golden egg — a seed of pure potential. Above her, the sun shines in a wide blue sky as two eagles — the ancestors — drift in slow, endless circles, carrying ancient wisdom on their wings.

The land rises behind her in quiet strength, the cliffs and forests, guardians of the sacred masculine. Below, the ocean bubbles against the shore, where moonsnails, red stones, and sea sage rest in the rhythm of the tide.

Around her, a garden bursts into bloom — flowers unfurling in wild color, fiddleheads reaching upward, bees enjoying the feast. Beneath it all, deep in the soil, the worms go about their secret work — carving unseen paths, making space for new life to root and grow.

Near the roots, where the earth begins to dream, a mother hare and her young emerge from their hidden den, stepping tenderly into the blossoming world. They carry the soft magic of new beginnings, a reminder that life renews itself in the most quiet and wondrous ways.
Woven into the Keeper’s skirt, the cosmos shimmers with stars and the potential of new life, while the grandmothers dance in celebration of the endless bounty that the universe provides.

Hidden in this painting is a surprise. If you soften your gaze... if you let the edges blur... you might catch it: a secret shape on which this whole world is formed, quietly watching. A reminder that abundance isn’t something you must chase — it’s already here.

The overall shape is an eye but you can't see it unless you zoom out of image. It can be easily missed. There's a central figure. She is wearing a red hooded robe. She holds a golden egg. The sun shines above her in a blue sky. A gold ring surrounds the sun. There are two eagles soaring above. Directly behind her is horizontal layer with a stand of trees on a cliff. They signify the sacred masculine to me. Below the cliffs is another horizontal layer, a beach with moonsnails red stones and sea sage. The tide bubbles onto the beach. The water is another horizontal layer with wave patterns in it. Surrounding the figure in the foreground is a full garden filled with all kinds of flowers in bloom as well as fiddleheads,. Bumble bees are flying around. From her toes shoot golden roots that make their way into the dirt at the bottom of the painting. There are worm tracks offering a little space for growth. a few worms are continuing their work out the bottom of the painting . There is also a hare's den where are mother and her babies are emerging into the new spring growth. This back drop of the den is the starry sky as if they are in another world emerging into a blossoming one. The woman's skirt holds the cosmos as well. A sky hare leaps across the sky. And three grandmothers dance - one holding a golden spiral in her hand.
