In Communication with the Sun

There is a silent dialogue between the elements—a language spoken in light, carried by water, rooted in the earth. The sun and I have come to understand one another in this way. It finds me when I seek it, casting its warmth across the land, reflecting off the river’s surface, and illuminating the unseen.

The river teaches its own wisdom, flowing effortlessly, shaping the world around it without resistance. Standing within its currents, I feel the quiet pull of connection—to the land beneath me, to the sky above, to the pulse of creation itself. The sun reaches down, and I lift my hands in return. In this moment, all things are in communion: the warmth of fire, the movement of water, the steadiness of earth, and the breath of air.

This is an act of remembrance—of honoring the rhythms of nature, the wisdom of the land, the presence of those who walked before me. The sun does not cast away the shadows but reveals them, offering a path toward transformation. The more I listen, the more I feel the truth of it: the connection is always there. It is only a matter of being present to it.
