The Crows Know
The Story
Under the full moon’s luminous glow, the birch trees stand like silent sentinels, their pale trunks etched against the night. A cosmic river, thick with stars, cuts through the darkness, a path unseen yet always known. It hums with the wisdom of the in-between, where time bends, and the veil between worlds grows thin.
The crows know the way. They gather in the branches, their dark forms peppering the sky, watching, waiting. One takes flight, rising from the depths of the painting toward the moon, carried by an ancient knowing. They are messengers, keepers of secrets whispered by the wind, flying freely between the physical and non-physical planes.
This piece is an homage to the crows of Victoria Park, their presence a reminder that some beings are never bound to just one world.
