The Night Her Waters Broke

This painting is inspired by Mother Mary on the evening she gave birth to Jesus under the bright Star of Bethlehem. Mary is often portrayed as an untouchable angelic figure but she, as well as, all of the ascended masters walked the Earth as human beings. When they come through to me they ask to be depicted as such. I am honoured to interpret their energy in this way. Her gown resembles the flowing waters and her veil holds the vibration of her contractions. Roses, a symbol of Mary’s unwavering love, surround her in loving support as she stands on the straw beneath her feet. L The comets in the sky are a nod to what is happening in the skies today, connecting time and space.
