The Illusion of Chains

Yesterday, during meditation, I saw an elephant shackled by its foot. It reminded me of that story about elephants raised in captivity—how, when they’re young, they’re chained to a post. No matter how hard they try, they can’t break free. Eventually, they stop trying. And even when the chains are gone, they still believe they’re trapped.

We’re not so different.

The Great Forgetting

A life force so powerful it can create worlds enters a human body for an Earthly experience. But to keep from short-circuiting the physical form, a veil is placed over our awareness. Not to separate us from who we really are—just to soften the transition.

But something went wrong.

A system emerged. Not one designed to honor our divinity, but to control it. It took our connection to life, nature, and each other and turned it into something transactional. It made us forget.

The Currency of Control

Money itself isn’t the problem. Exchange is natural. Energy has to flow.

But somewhere along the way, that flow got twisted into something else—a measure of worth. Not just of goods and services, but of life itself.

When Gaia is given a price tag, when human lives are measured by their productivity, when freedom comes at a cost—what are we, really?

Not chained. But conditioned.

Fear: The Invisible Shackles

The system knows exactly how to keep us small. Fear is its strongest tool.

Fear of God.Fear of the government.Fear of going without.Fear of not being enough.Fear of being free.

Yes, even freedom scares us—because we’ve been taught to equate security with submission, comfort with conformity, survival with servitude.

The Great Reclamation

So how do we break free?

We remember.

We remember that we are sovereign, not subjects.We remember that we are creators, not captives.We remember that no external force has power over us—unless we hand it over.

Reclaiming our sovereignty doesn’t start with overthrowing systems. It starts within. It starts the moment we stop waiting for permission to exist fully, freely, and in our own power.

And it doesn’t have to be some grand act of rebellion.

It can be as simple as questioning the stories we’ve been told.Choosing love over fear, even when fear feels easier.Trusting ourselves more than we trust the system.

Because here’s the truth—

The chains were never real.

They were put there by those who feared our power. And they only exist as long as we believe in them.

So, let’s stop believing the lie.

Look down, no shackle, we are not being restrained.

And that gate, it isn't locked it's wide open.

Just

stand up and walk out.

We are free.
