As many of you know I've been creating a series of works called The Cosmic Portal. It's a collection of 78 paintings on 9"x12" canvases all with the theme of communing with the non-physical source energy. What started out as an affordable art project blossomed into a giant
multi-piece installation called The Cosmic Portal which will be installed and exhibited the Guild in Charlottetown Prince Edward Island, Canada for the month of October.
After the exhibition The Cosmic Portal original paintings will be available for sale and then the images will be reproduced into an ORACLE DECK (like a tarot deck), as well as, other types of beautiful swag.
To give you some background, in February I broke my back and spent 6 weeks in a recliner. I turned to small canvases that I could paint in my chair. During the creation of this work I spent a ton of time in meditation and ceremony to help heal my back and help me channel the energy that I knew these pieces would need in order to be a really functional oracle deck. I also spent a lot of time listening to people connected to the non-physical realm like Abraham Hicks, Deepak Chopra and Joe Dispenza among many others.
I'm so excited to share this project with you and the world. I've had the privilege of sitting in my studio surrounded by these paintings which have become energetically stronger and stronger as each as been completed. I am confident that people who experience the installation and who use the oracle deck will be able to step through the portal to the cosmic energy which connects us all.
